Flora, for Liu Dong

The thing to do is never let it 
                                             leave the ground
It grows in.

Flowers gasp to bloom not
Burn, missed, left for good. 

Petals slip, in moans like open mouths
                                                                that moths, flickering wings,
Kiss.
